I am Ilijana Kovacic, the adventurous mind and driving force behind Yachtrco, with almost twenty years of professional experience in tourism. I started my career working as an attendant at exclusive cruise programs. After nearly two decades of working in tourism in an international setting, traveling around the globe and working in different countries, I became a successful entrepreneur. And now, my love for sea and sailing has inspired me to create original personalized cruise programs.
I believe no feeling in the world can compare with sailing on a boat – you love it instantly, it sweeps you away. And all you can think about after is coming back to it! Now, I have finally found the perfect recipe for what I wanted to create – a fully personalized cruising experience! I fused my expertise, knowledge, passion, vision and a purely innovative approach. The result was a formula for the ultimate sailing adventure – the voyage bound to ignite all your senses. After all, I wish to enable my customers to experience the sea through my eyes! My job requires a lot of energy and unwavering focus. But this comes naturally easy to me since I am a dynamic person thriving on the thrills of adventure and exploration! I am passionate about travelling the world, practicing martial arts and doing water sports. And when I am in the mood for some tranquility, I opt for hiking or crafting culinary delights in the comforts of my kitchen. Thanks to my rich work experience, years of travelling and passion for learning new languages, I can tell you about my love for the sea and yachts in over five languages! I am fluent in Portuguese, English, German, and Croatian. And if you speak Italian or Spanish, don’t hesitate to contact me in your native language! I am more than familiar with these languages as well.
